The Paddle Wheel The Paddle Wheel is constructed of 6061 T-6 and 5052 H32 aluminum alloy.  Aircraft manufacturers use it for the same reasons we do:  Incredible strength and light weight.  The paddle wheel rides on 4 greaseable bearings.
